2 teaspoons baking soda
2 ½ teaspoons Kosher salt
1 teaspoon brown sugar
11 0z stout ale, stirred till nearly flat
⅔ cup buttermilk
2 tablespoons blackstrap molasses
2 tablespoons butter, melted

- Preheat your oven to 350ºF (180ºC) and position a rack in the center. Lightly grease a 9‑inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray, then line it with parchment paper so the loaf lifts out easily.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients — whole‑wheat flour, rolled oats, baking soda, salt, and brown sugar — until everything is evenly combined.
